Exclusive: Man Dies after Pirating Pastor E.A Adeboye’s Open Heaven Devotional Book

When next you want to mess with a Man of God, you might want to be carefulWe have heard stories of how criminals who attempt to mess with RCCG’s Pastor E.A Adeboye end up getting scorched and caught in the act, well, there’s a new one!
A middle aged Nigerian, in his early 50s recently met his waterloo and died after messing with the General Overseer’s open heaven devotional book.
The man (name withheld for family’s sake) went to China with an original copy of the widely read ‘RCCG’ devotional book ‘Open Heavens’ and guess what he did, he duplicated copies of it and brought them back to Nigeria to sell at the rate of N1000…when the original price of the book actually goes for N750- N800.
Unfortunately for him, he died last month as he arrived the country with the pirated copies of the book.

“Oyedepo did not threatened to “open the gates of hell” on the president’s opponents” - By Femi Kehinde

Last Sunday, Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan visited Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland during the third service. As a media man, I knew news was about to break when I saw state house security men and advanced team of Mr. President. Shortly after, the presidential helicopter flew in and landed at Covenant University where Mr. President was driven to the Church. As President Jonathan was ushered in to the church, the congregants went wild in jubilation to welcome him. This is what happened thereafter:
Bishop David Oyedepo Introduction
To the glory of God, we have a very special guest in our midst, the president of the Federal republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Give the lord a big hand. Your Excellency, you are welcome. Please be seated; get seated everyone. Amen. In the course of this service, he will be bringing us special greetings. Expect, today, to return with whatever desires you came back with, in Jesus name. Once again, with a big clap offering, welcome Mr. President to our midst… I will like this congregation in this third service to join me and receive on this altar, for a word of greatness, a blessing from the father of the nation, to this congregation. Please join me welcome Mr. President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, as he brings us a word from the lord.
President Jonathan Spoke
Thank you, my brethren. Please be seated. My Bishop, thank you so much and our mummy, Mama Faith Oyedopo, I have to thank you so much and other clergy men and women here with us, my brethren. First, let me thank God that I’m here with you today. I’ve been wanting to join you in one of your special programmes, but it has not been possible because of the circumstances of my office. Today, I’m quite happy that something brought us to Lagos since yesterday; we’ll leave tonight. And I said that at least, I must be with you today. First, to use this platform to sincerely thank you all and indeed the Nigerian Christians for your persistent prayers for the nation.

‘Jonathan will be PDP’s last president’

The Founder/Spiritual Head of Inri Evangelical Church Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, spoke with Adetutu Audu, on the forthcoming elections, among sundry issues. Excerpts:
What should Nigerians be looking forward to in 2015?
2015 is a year that Nigerians are expecting so many things. Many people have been saying that Nigeria will breakup but I can tell you that Nigeria will not breakup in 2015.
Nigeria will still remain a as, country in 2015 but we  need a lot of prayers against bloodbath. We need prayers for God to protect the country especially in the political scene because so many unexpected things will happen.
Politically, what do you foresee?
Nigerian politics still needs a lot of prayers. We need to be prayerful to avert many politicians getting involved in accidents.
The election will not breakup Nigeria. There will be partial peace in some places while there will be no peace in some places. I don’t see Nigeria remaining a single nation in the  next 30 years. Jonathan will be the last PDP’s  president.
I see a new government coming up in this country.
